Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree occurs when the value of the item stolen is $501-$74,999. This may result in:
- Maximum fine of $15,000
- Between 3 and 5 years of jail time
Grand Larceny in the 2nd degree occurs when the value of the item stolen is$75,000 or more. This may result in:
- Maximum fine of up to $150,000
- Between 5 and 10 years of imprisonment
